The Angelfish comes from the Amazon basin of South America (Hybrids come in black,calico,vailtailed,and many more variations).

Temperature at least 72 degrees F

Likes slightly acid water, but really not important, ph 7

Will breed in captivity, lays eggs on broad plant leaves or even on the aquarium glass. It will eat other fishes babies but cares for it's own....(unless frightened). Enjoys having a lot of plant cover to hide in. This fish can be aggressive.
