| The Angelfish comes from the Amazon basin of South America (Hybrids come in black,calico,vailtailed,and many more variations). | |
| Temperature at least 72 degrees F | |
| Likes slightly acid water, but really not important, ph 7 | |
| Will breed in captivity, lays eggs on broad plant leaves or even on
the aquarium glass. It will eat other fishes babies but cares for it's
own....(unless frightened). Enjoys having
a lot of plant cover to hide in.
This fish can be aggressive. |
