State of the Campaign
I was talking to one of the sheeple the other day, who claims to be a loyal Republican, and he advised me that I should give up on my fourth attempt at the White House, because the election is over, McCain has won. He explained that with the contest down to three, Obama, Clinton, and McCain, that Americans would not elect a woman or a black man to be president. Well, at least he gave it some thought, thus the problem of letting sheeple vote. This advice came from a man who does not even know who Ron Paul is, but is a loyal Republican and talks politics.
So how is the campaign going?
The truth is that it hasn't even started yet!
Everything we have been and are seeing plastered across the news media is Party
Politics.
It's about the parties deciding who will represent them, again the election
has not started!!!
It's about the Republicrates rubbing the noses of the American
People in the fact that they are in control of the media and the political future
of the country.
Although finances have forced me to scale back on the campaign,
I think the campaign is doing well.
I have been doing email interviews, online
chats, radio talk shows, newspapers, pretty much everything except TV. Supporters
have even posted a partial speech on utube. Over the next couple months I'll be making
appearances and speaking at various events in the north east.
My plan from
the beginning has been to sit back and watch as all of the other candidates spend
millions of dollars trying to get their fifteen minutes and then drop out two weeks
later . So I'll make my big moves after people have forgotten that, Vilsack or Biden
was ever even running. This campaign will not be stopped by any lack of cash, we
are the epitome of grass roots, this website and email will compromise 90% of what's
left of the Rocking to the White House tour 08. This campaign will not be over until
the last free thinking American, lays down his pen after Writing In Ronald Gascon
for President.
What about Jesse
the body Ventura and Al Gore? Jesse has finally confirmed that he is not running
in 2008 and has moved to Mexico. Perhaps 2012? Jesse will not commit to running unless
he thinks he can win, look for him to tap a major party before we see his name on
a ballot. Al Gore? America's been calling and he's not answering the phone. Either
would make a better president than anyone offered but since their not running, lets
concentrate on those who are.
Cowards (drop outs) Edwards,
Biden,Vilsack, Romney, Guilani, Thompson, Richardson... Why did they ever run? Was
it a Party ploy to try and put enough faces up there, so that just about everybody
will identify with at least one of them?
So how come I'm not out shaking hands and kissing babies? Not my style and
I have hit a few obstacles. Starting with my job.
I told my supervisor in February
that I intended to take off Saturdays starting April first (not unreasonable since
I have been working an illegal seven day a week schedule for months). Her response
you're not starting that shit again. My response you figure it out by April first
or I'm out of here. Two days later surprise random drug test courtesy of the Drug
free workplace act of 1998. But I protested our company does not have a random
drug testing policy. Her response piss or get out. So as a protest of their non-policy
policy. I smoked up before reporting to the testing facility. Surprise I failed for
"marijuana" and was fired. Which left me unemployed in February, so I applied
for unemployment, they say I don't qualify because I failed a drug test, they don't
care about fourth amendment rights, or company policies. Anyway I got nothing better
to do, so I am fighting it all the way to the Supreme Court if I have to...
Meanwhile I had no money to pay the rent and have become one of the homeless, not that I am living in the street, I still have the activist van. But gas just hit four fucking dollars a gallon. So I took a part time job, washing dishes at a local restaurant and spend most of my time hiking or on rainy days in Wal-mart parking lot. Still I have enough friends that I do get to shower and shave on a regular basis. (yes shave, after 30 plus years my beard has outlawed by the company that has me washing dishes). So when I get my bi-weekly pay checks I fill up the tank and head out to campaign. My next big planned speech is 4th of July at Layfette Park across from the White House. Press conference, possible arrest? We will see what I have to do to get attention in D.C.
