Our Church History

We welcome your interest in our congregation. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, a church body with more than 2 million members in the United States. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church was established in 1964 here in the Irving community. This year we give thanks to Almighty God for 35 years of ministry in the Irving area. We moved to our present location in 1979.

The members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church are committed to honoring Almighty God with their lives. They do this through their active participation in the worship life of our congregation; through the daily study of God's Sacred Word; through sharing the message of salvation with others; and through service to others in need. Together, we are a community of believers bonded together by our common love for Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
